Step One - SIGN UP

Before signing up to participate in Crates For Ukraine (CFU), please read and understand a few basics:
  • Read CFU overview flyer
  • We are looking for 4 primary means of help. We need Churches / Groups / Individuals that are willing to:
    1. Both "PACK" & "DELIVER" crates to Dallas or Chattanooga.
    2. "PACK" crates
    3. "DELIVER" crates to Dallas or Chattanooga (inventory files must be uploaded the Monday  prior to delivery and crates must be delivered on a Thursday, see STEP THREE).
    4. Serve as a "LOCAL DROP POINT" to collect crates from others and deliver them to one of our warehouses (see STEP THREE for more info about "local drop points").
  • Ideally, we would like all who register to "PACK" & "DELIVER" at least 4 crates. However, if you are unable to commit to 4 crates or if you are unable to deliver your crates, please go ahead and register. You can partner with other churches or groups in your area to reach the 4 crate minimum and work together to have your crates delivered.
  • Crates are to be packed using these specific supply lists. Please do not pack items not on these lists. See STEP 2 for details about the supply lists and packing crates.
  • The deadline to deliver your crates (see STEP 3) is March 16, 2023 but we urge you to pack and deliver your crates ASAP. We will close registration on March 1, 2023. The need for aid is urgent and the sooner you can deliver your crates, the better.

CONSIDER BUILDING A LOCAL CFU TEAM
Ideas for various local team roles and ways to build a local CFU volunteer team (this is not required, but is an idea to help develop a local CFU team):
  • Local Coordinator – The local person who ensures crates are packed and delivered to Dallas or Chattanooga. This is the person providing local oversight. This person could possibly be a church staff member or the member of the missions team.
  • Prayer Warrior – Prayer warrior for the project (see home page for a list of key ways to pray).
  • Driver - the one who drives and delivers crates to Dallas or Chattanooga.
  • Deacon - Liaison with other deacons to recruit packers and/or drivers.
  • Communications Coordinator – Help get the word out about an Amazon list and other supplies that we are asking our church body to donate.
  • Community Donations Coordinator – Ask various medical businesses or pharmacies to donate supplies.  Collect these supplies and bring to the church.
  • Inventory Coordinator – Count and keep track of all the donated supplies to stock the Crates.  Make a google sheet with all the supplies.
  • Packing Guru – Master packer of all the crates with the donated supplies.
"Crates for Ukraine" is a ministry of MTW Ukraine and MTW Team Lviv in partnership with the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Ukraine.
