"Crates for Ukraine" is a ministry of MTW Ukraine and MTW Team Lviv in partnership with the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Ukraine.
CFU Mission: At the request of the Ukrainian Church and our national partners, to provide personal and humanitarian aid from the hands of churches in the U.S. to the hands of churches and displaced communities in Ukraine.
Crates for Ukraine (CFU) launched in the spring of 2022 soon after Russia's full scale invasion of Ukraine. At its core, CFU is designed to provide vital and life saving humanitarian aid to those in need during their darkest hour. All CFU aid is delivered to Lviv, Ukraine. From there aid is processed and dispersed by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Ukraine to those in need.
The 4th iteration of CFU (2024 campaign) is underway. Each previous iteration of aid collection had unique nuances, but the core mission and strategy has remained constant. God has provided in amazing ways through our first 3 iterations. We have collected ~79 tons of aid valued at ~$4.1 million. Aid has been distributed to over 3,500 locations and has helped well over 100,000 people (click here to see our aid distribution map).
We are currently raising funds for our 4th iteration of CFU (sometimes referred to as CFU4.0). Our goal is to pack at least 400 crates by the end of 2024. CFU4.0 is slightly different from previous iterations as our primary focus is fundraising. We will buy aid in bulk and pack it all in Dallas, TX prior to shipment to Ukraine (the reason is to gain efficiency and provide simplicity to our partners).
